Year 4 MTC

In Year 4, all pupils in England take part in the Multiplication Tables Check (MTC), a short online assessment designed to measure how quickly and accurately children can recall their multiplication facts up to 12 × 12. At Netherton CofE Primary School, we support children throughout the year with regular times tables practice, helping them to build confidence and fluency in this essential mathematical skill. Strong knowledge of multiplication facts provides a foundation for many other areas of maths and prepares children well for the challenges of upper Key Stage 2.
