Netherton is home to many churches representing a variety of Christian denominations. Standing proudly at the highest point in the town, right beside our school, is St Andrew's Church. Overlooking the whole of Netherton, the church has been a central part of the community since it was consecrated and opened on 16th July 1830 by the Lord Bishop of Worcester.

At Netherton CE Primary School, we are proud of our strong links with St Andrew's. We wear the Cross of St Andrew on our school sweatshirts and enjoy a close relationship with the church that shares our patron saint. Our parish is led by Reverend Richard Hackett, affectionately known to us as "Rev Rich", who also serves St Peter's Church and St John's Church.

Throughout the year, we regularly visit St Andrew's Church to celebrate important Christian festivals and special occasions. Families are often invited to join us as we lead and take part in services, helping us to strengthen the bond between school, church and community. Members of the church also regularly visit us in school, supporting worship, learning and many aspects of school life.

Our partnership with St Andrew's Church plays a vital role in nurturing the Christian values that are at the heart of Netherton CE Primary School and helps our children develop a strong sense of belonging within the local community.
