Recycling Crisp packets

18 March 2019 (by admin)

Crisp packets are not currently recycled by most local authorities. We would love to do our bit for the environment. Can we ask that you send in your empty crisp packs and we will send these off to be recycled; they will then be made into watering cans, plant pots and park benches.

The schools ‘Friends of Netherton’ team will also get some money for the crisp packets which will help fund exciting activities and trips for your child!

A bin has been placed in the hall for children to dispose of their crisp packets.

We are still a healthy eating school and actively encourage a healthy and balanced diet with plenty of exercise however, we do recognise that children and adults alike enjoy a packet of crisps on occasions.  If you have any questions please give the school a call.
