Children in KS1 and KS2 have the opportunity to enter into a science fair competition, which will involve them conducting and recording the outcomes of an investigation at home.

The investigations they carry out don't have to cost a lot - we are encouraging "kitchen science" activities that aim to answer a scientific question. Find some ideas here: https://littlebinsforlittlehands.com/easy-science-fair-projects/

Entries must be presented on a free-standing presentation board (this can be made from a cardboard box) and submitted on Monday 22nd May to 6PT. These will then be displayed in the school hall later that week for all to see.

Winners from each year group will be invited to a local science fair in June, and winners from that will be invited to present their work at Birmingham University in July!

By giving lots of notice, we're hoping that you will have time - particularly over the next two weeks - to consider ideas and make a start on your entry.
